Knights fall to tough teams

After waiting for the weather to cooperate, the Cornell-Lake Holcombe baseball program finally saw action over the week.

April 9 vs. Northwood-Solon Springs, conference (L 7-0)

The Knights didn’t get off to the best start in the opening game, when on the road at Northwood-Solon Springs, as the Cornell-Lake Holcombe program was forced to forfeit the match, conceding 7-0 to the Eagles.

April 11 vs. Prairie Farm, non-conference (L 21-5)

Hoping for better luck, to close out the week, the Knights hosted Prairie Farm, but offense just wasn’t there for the home team, with the game going to the Panthers, 21-5.
