Cadott sees improvement

By Ginna Young

Cadott’s golf program hit the links over the week, to begin the season, learning as they go along.

April 9 Osseo Meet

It was off to the Osseo Golf Club to start the year, with freshman Brady Goettl claiming top honors, carding a 46, followed by sophomores Parker Davis and Collin Kowalczyk each scoring 48. Senior Jordan Peters followed that up with a score of 51 and junior Ewan Weir ended with 60.

“The boys did not play well at the Osseo match, but it was also the first match of the year,” said coach Scott Christenson.

April 11 Bloomer Meet

A couple days later, the Hornets were on the road to Bloomer Veterans Memorial Golf Course.

“They rebounded a little better at the Bloomer match,” said Christenson.

Goettl improved his score from the first match, this time, with a 40.

“He also got his first birdie,” said Christenson.

Davis was behind that with a score of 48, with Kowalczyk right behind, with 49, followed by sophomore Gavin Roscoe, scoring 50. Peters rounded out the scoring by carding a 52.
