Sonnentag claims another podium win for the Hornets

Freshman Iszy Sonnentag (106) isn’t letting any grass grow under her feet, when it comes to racking up wins at tournaments. This time, it was a first place victory at Wausau West Jan. 21, for an invitational.

Sophomore Maria Cuahua (126) didn’t place during the tournament, but nonetheless wrestled hard.

“Both girls had individual goals to achieve at this meet and they both accomplished them,” said coach Caitlyn Kaz. “I am very proud of both athletes.”
