Coming weeks will show what the Knights can do

In the first meet of the season, the Cornell-Lake Holcombe golfers were on the road to Winter, April 12, taking place at Pinecrest Golf Course.

Four of the Knights competed, with sophomore Carson Stipek claiming the top honors for his team, by carding a 60. Freshman Bryce DeJongh followed that with a score of 64, with junior Torren Parker coming next, scoring 67.

Sophomore Grady Abbott ended the day with a score of 69.

“It was nice to get our first varsity match under our belt and I’m excited to see the improvements we can make over the next few weeks,” said coach Megan Bitney.
