Wanda M. Gindt

Wanda M. Gindt, 86, Stanley, passed away Nov. 29, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire.

Wanda was born Jan. 5, 1935, to the late Michael and Mildred (Dyle) Skrypinski. She grew up in the Stanley area, and attended area schools.

Wanda worked at the Stanley Tastee Treat, Alberta Mae’s, making pies, and home care for many over the years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, which was her greatest joy. She took her grandsons camping and fishing when they were young. Grandma Wanda was always there, whenever they needed a ride.

Wanda also enjoyed spending time and babysitting her great-grandchildren. She loved to buy them toys and treats, just because. She will be very missed by each and every one of them.

She is survived by her children – Yvonne Gindt, Chippewa Falls, Larry Gindt, Eau Claire, Diane Gindt, Stanley, and Debbie (Tom) Yeager, Stanley; her three grandchildren – Steven (JoAnna), James (Kathy) and Richard (Amanda); and six great-grandchildren – Mason, Shawn, Ryder, Stella, Brody and Sierra.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother – Mike Jr.

Visitation was held Friday, Dec. 3, at Plombon Funeral Home, from 1-2:30 p.m., with the rosary read at 2:30 p.m.
