Linda Sue (Snidle) Young

Linda Sue (Snidle) Young, 85, Cornell, died, Monday, May 11, 2026, after a short illness, which resulted in a ruptured bowel, at Eau Claire Mayo Hospital.

Going by Sue her whole life, she was a huge worrier, but wholeheartedly loved reading, flower gardening, crocheting and watching the birds at the feeder. She was also intensely passionate about college basketball, old cars, motorcycles, vampires – especially Damon Salvatore – Native American culture, dragons, science fiction, wolves, Toby Keith, band music, chocolate and Jason Momoa, but depised broccoli, with her whole being.

She is survived by her whole world, her daughter – Ginna Young, Cornell.

She was preceded in death by her “one,” husband – Max.

Per Sue’s wishes, no services will be held. Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell, is assisting with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers and cards, please direct memorials to the Cadott or Cornell school band programs, or the Lake Holcombe School choir program, in her name.

Thanks to the staff at Augusta Care & Rehab, for the loving and tender care she received the last two years, while residing there.
