Steven “Steve” L. Lodahl passed away Monday, Oct. 18, at Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire.

Steve was born to the late Lester and Idyll Lodahl, in Minneapolis, Minn.

He was raised most of his childhood in the Township of Colburn. Steve graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School in 1973, and remained in the area his adult life.

Steve was united in marriage to Joanne Scheidler Aug. 15, 1987.

He worked in the dairy industry most of his career, starting driving milk truck, working for various dairies as a field man and eventually retiring from AMPI.

Steve was well-loved by all who knew him and loved sharing stories.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years – Joanne; five children – Elisha Draeger, Jason, Stefani (Nick) Burzynski, Scott (April) and Blake (Mayra), all of Stanley; eight grandchildren; his siblings – Glenda (Bruce) Schuebel, Ernie, RaNae, Bennita (Randy) Wellsandt, Kris (LaVerne) Fredrickson, Frank, Joe (Becky) and Shanda (Bob Stevens).

He was proceeded in death by parents – Idyll and Lester Lodahl; mother and father-in-law – Ellen and Samuel Scheidler; and son-in-law – Ricky Draeger.

Services will take place at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 25, at Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley, with the Rev. Kenneth Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in the Yellow River Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, from 4-8 p.m., and one hour prior to services, at the funeral home.
