Adam M. Hover, 36, Holcombe and originally from the Barron area, passed away Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, from complications because of his brief battle with COVID- 19.

Adam was born in Rice Lake, Oct. 26, 1984, to Roger and Marylin (Lake) Hover.

He grew up around the area, and attended Ridgeland Elementary School, then went on to Barron High School, where he graduated in May of 2003.

He shortly met his wife, Kathline LeBotte, before graduation and quickly became friends, where their love blossomed afterward and moved with her to Holcombe. They were then married July 23, 2005.

Adam had a very deep passion for all things outdoors, including fishing, hunting and derbying. His ultimate passion, though, was his racing, where he loved running his own car on the local track or going to watch them. Adam was a great man, friend to all, a loving husband and deeply cared for his sons, right until the end.

He is survived by his wife – Kathline β€œKat;” his three sons – Preston, Bray and Roman; mother – Marylin; mother-in-law – Karen; brothers – Sam and Kristen; five brothers-in-law – Alan, Teddy, Randy, Wes and Andrew; six sisters-in-law – Lisa, Casey, Tracy, Betty, Rose and Jennifer; three godchildren; his aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father – Roger; fatherin- law – Arlen; older brother – Michael; a niece – Cori; a godchild – Anthony; his grandparents; aunts; uncles and cousins.

Adam will be severely missed by all the hearts he touched. Race hard, Champ, until we see you at that track in the sky.

A memorial gathering will be held at Eagle Valley Speedway in Jim Falls, Saturday, Sept. 25, at 1 p.m., with a luncheon to follow.
