Janet Rae Eichner

Janet Rae Eichner, 71, Cadott, passed away at home, surrounded by family, Thursday, June 3, 2021.

Janet was born Feb. 27, 1950, to Leonard Eichner and Margaret (Licht) Eichner, in Cadott.

She grew up in Cadott, and graduated from Cadott High School in 1968.

Janet raised two loving daughters, all growing up in Cadott. She was a head cook the majority of her life and later transitioned to becoming a caregiver. Janet enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, cooking and spending time with her two granddaughters.

She leaves behind her two daughters – Danielle Hrdlicka (Matthew) and Samantha Eichner; her granddaughters – Brooklyn Hrdlicka and Madalyn Hrdlicka; siblings – Dennis Eichner (Rita), Sandra Naiberg, Steven Eichner, Douglas Eichner (Kathy), Robert Eichner (Jean), Brenda Roth (Duane), Leonard Eichner Jr., Rhonda Gurklis and Brian Eichner; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Leonard and Margaret Eichner; siblings – Danny Eichner and Sharon Zenner; and brother-in-law – David Naiberg.

Visitation will be held for 4-7 p.m., Thursday, June 10, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott.

Janet’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Muslim and the Marshfield Clinic Cancer Center staff, Dr. Dickson and Oakleaf Clinics staff, and St. Joseph’s Hospice team for the great care they provided.
