Jettie “Jet” Grace Harp, Holcombe, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 30, 2021.

Jet was born Nov. 22, 1944, to Alfred and Vivian Hager, in Minneapolis, Minn.

She grew up in Minnesota and South Dakota, with her family finally settling in South St. Paul, Minn., where she met her husband, Al.

They married March 31, 1962, and began their married life together; they were married for 59 years.

Jet and Al began their life building their own home together in Eagan, Minn., where they started their own business building tennis courts. Besides helping with the business, she raised three children, along with two nieces, Linda and Belinda.

The couple moved to Holcombe, in 2003, where they were enjoying being retired and spending time on the lake with their friends. A few years later, after the death of their youngest son, Troy, they stepped in to help raise three of their grandchildren, Sean, Karisa and Gabby.

Jet and Al loved to travel, having been to Hawaii multiple times, Australia, Mexico, and traveled the U.S., while building tennis courts. They had spent their winters in Arizona, for about seven years.

She is survived by her husband – Al; her son – Duane (Jill); two brothers – Babe (Patty) and Dan (Maggie); nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents – Alfred and Vivian; sisters – Erna and Lea; brothers – Jim, Jerry, Boyd and Donny; two children – Kim and Troy; and great-grandchild – Anthony.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 30, at 2 p.m., at Eastbay Lodge in Holcombe.
