Ronald “Ron” J. Laudenslager, 87, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home in Chippewa Falls, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at the home.

Ron was born Dec. 8, 1933, to James and Marion (Crouthamel) Laudenslager, in Pennsylvania.

He grew up in Pennsylvania, and graduated from high school in 1952.

Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was united in marriage to Gail Kehm Feb. 25, 1989.

He is survived by his wife – Gail Laudenslager; children – Rodney (Sue) Laudenslager, Wathertown, Nanette (Carl) Reiss, Gilmer, Texas, Randall Laudenslager, Emmaus, Penn., and Ronald Laudenslager Jr., Pennsylvania; stepchildren –Timothy (Mary Ann) Brinker, Sweden, Terry Ann (Michael) Iacocca, Pennsylvania, Debra Brinker, Palistine, Texas, and Donald (Tina) Brinker, Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother – Gerald Laudenslager, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother – William Laudenslager.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 10, at Holcombe United Methodist Church, with Pastor Paul Messmer officiating. Inurnment will be determined at a later date.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, Saturday, at the church. Military honors will be held at the church following the service, by the Cornell American Legion.

Social distancing and face coverings are mandatory.
