Heather M. Widmann, 37, town of Spencer, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, with hospice care provided by Compassus Hospice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield with Rev. Daniel Thelen officiating.  Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation at the church on Thursday from 4-7p.m. and again on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.  The honor of pall bearer belongs to Nate Breu, Nick Breu, Adam Pearce, Dan Krause, Scott Breu, Ryan Breu, Ryan Fecker and Brenden Breu.

Heather was born on Sept. 27, 1986, in Marshfield to Randy and Laurie (Pearce) Breu.  She was a graduate of Auburndale High School. After graduation, she attended Mid-State Technical College, earning her degree as a license practical nurse. On April 30, 2011, she was united in marriage to Michael Widmann at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield.  Together thy had two daughters, Addison and Avery.  She was employed with Marshfield Clinic for 13 years as an LPN/dermatology technician.

She loved to spend time with her family doing many activities. She enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, or just sitting in the stand taking in all the sights and sounds of the woods she so loved. Heather’s most cherished memories will always be of her family, her friends and her hunts.

Those who will cherish her memory are her loving husband, Mike; her daughters Addison and Avery; her mother, Laurie Breu of Stevens Point; her brothers, Nathan Breu of Abbotsford and Nicholas (Maria) Breu of Stevens Point; her sister, Jennifer Breu of Rice Lake; her grandparents, June and Art Holford of Stevens Point; her father-in-law, John Widmann; her mother-in-law, LuAnn Widmann; and special sisters-in-law, Stacey (Ryan) Fecker and Mandi Chojnacki; along with numerous aunts, uncles. nieces, nephews, other wonderful relative, friends and neighbors. Heather is also survived by her trusted canine companion, “Hoosier.”

Heather was proceeded in death by her father, Randy Breu, and her grandparents, Robert and Charlene Breu.

In lieu of flowers, Heather had requested that memorials in her name be directed to the family for her daughters’ future college expenses.

The family would like a special thank you to go out to the Mayo Clinic oncology hepatobiliary team, as well as the staff at Compassus Hospice Services.
