Patricia L. McCullough, 72, Greenwood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, at Marshfield Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood, with Rev. Geoff Smith officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Patricia Lynn Turski was born on Dec. 1, 1947, in Milwaukee, to Stanley A. and Audrey (nee Lang) Turski. She was raised in the Milwaukee area until the age of 11, when her family moved to Spokane, Wash. Patricia completed her education in Spokane, graduating from Rogers High School in 1966. She was united in marriage to Clayton E. McCullough on May 1, 1971, in Spokane. Since her husband was in the U.S. Army, they moved often, but returned to the Spokane area after his discharge and settled on a hobby farm north of the city. Patricia was a true pioneer woman. She loved to raise a big garden, can all of her own food, and loved to cook and bake. Patricia did work out of the house as a head cook at a restaurant in Chewelah, Wash., and as a seamstress at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Spokane. In 1993, she and her husband moved to Clark County, and settled in Greenwood in 1995, where she resided until her death. She had many interests, but especially loved being with her grandchildren, painting, crocheting mittens for school kids, horses and dogs, fishing, camping, and being outdoors.

Patricia will be dearly missed by her daughters: April (Leslie) Gorton and Heather (Chad) Durrstein, both of Greenwood; dear friends: Candy (John) Gutowski of Withee; 12 grandchildren; two siblings: Jim Brickner and Jeannine Tipke, both of Spokane, Wash.; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father: Gregory Brickner; her husband, Clayton, on April 24, 2001; her son: Gregory Allen McCullough in infancy; and one sister: Karen Myrick.
