Timberrrr!!!

Work began on April 22 to clear trees along County Highway K/Main Street in Granton as the first step in the village’s street project this summer. Numerous trees were cut down along the stretch from Railroad Street to Fifth Street this past week before work will begin to tear out the road and replace the water and sewer lines underneath. The project is expected to be completed by the end of September and traffic along County Highway K will be rerouted around Granton until the project is complete.
