Bridge’s out!

Continuing the busy construction season for Clark County this summer, the County Highway G bridge crossing the Black River in Greenwood was closed to traffic on Monday, as construction workers prepare to demolish the 1938 structure and replace it with a new three-span, pre-stressed concrete bridge with a total length of 315’ 9”. The $3.8 million project is being done by Lunda Construction Company with an estimated completion date of this December. Alternate traffic routes include County Highway OO/Twenty Six Road or County Highway N to County Highway O.
