Henry “Tom” Hall, 77, Eau Claire, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Cornell Health Services.

Tom was born June 15, 1946, in Illinois, to the late Henry and Leona Hall.

He married Christine Smrz, in Plano, Ill., Feb. 8, 1969.

Tom was a jack-of-alltrades type of man.

He was a proud Vietnam Army veteran, whom retired from the Army. Tom also retired from the Ho-Chunk Nation in Black River Falls, and he drove school bus for the Lake Holcombe School District.

Tom was the kind of man who talked to everyone he met. He enjoyed bowling, hiking, biking, camping and the many vacations with his family. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife – Christine; son – Tom (Deanna); daughter – Teri (Jason) Hurrion; grandchildren – McKenzie, Jake, Sean and Kennedy; brothers – Larry (Carol), Mike (Dana), Ron and Terry; sister – Karen (Bryan) Derdzinski; sisters-in-law – Trisha Hall and Cheryl Hall; and numerous other family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter – Tina; parents; brothers – Bob, John, Bill Lewis and Levi Lewis Jr.; and his niece – Stefanie Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 404 1/2 N. Bridge St., Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.

Graveside services, with full military honors, will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at the Lake Holcombe Cemetery.

The Cremation Society of Wisconsin in Altoona, is assisting the family.
