Madelyn Carol (VonRath) Wolfe

Madelyn Carol (VonRath) Wolfe passed from this life, Dec. 17, 2023.

Madelyn was born to Leo Vernon VonRath and Laura Dorothy (Hall) VonRath, in Key West, Fla., Jan. 2, 1949.

She spent her youth living with family members and foster families in Florida, Arizona, New York and Minnesota.

Madelyn married her husband of 54 years, David Wesley Wolfe, May 3, 1969, in Minneapolis, Minn. The union produced two daughters – Cynthia Lynn (Chris) Sparks and Cara Lea (Will) Abele; five grandchildren – Sean Michael Bennett, Scott Anthony Bennett, Samuel Wesley Harmon, Bridgett Vanitta Ledbetter and Cassidy Virginia Sparks; and two great-grandchildren – Elijah King Wroblewski and Piper Elizabeth Bennett.

Madelyn was a wife, mother and grandmother, who treasured her family immensely. She loved cooking for family and friends. Madelyn especially enjoyed preparing for holiday gatherings.

Her hobbies included puzzles, word searches and crafts of all sorts.

Madelyn will be interred at the Estella Cemetery in Cornell, at a later date.
