Mark Kenneth Sibbers, 53, Cadott, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, in Madison.

Mark was born May 27, 1970, in Chippewa Falls, to Duane and Karen Sibbers.

He loved life and had a passion for the outdoors. Mark also dedicated his time as a volunteer firefighter.

Mark had a zest for adventure and embraced every moment.

In his career, Mark worked as a computer programmer at IBM and Showcase, Inc., in Rochester, Minn., and ended his journey at Marshfield Health Systems.

He moved back to Cadott in 2001. Mark carried on a family tradition of custom cabinet making as the owner of Sibb’s Custom Cabinets.

Outside of work, Mark had a variety of hobbies. He enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, making maple syrup, trail bike riding and kayaking. He was a HUGE concert fan, particularly Rock Fest, and was known for his skills as a rib cooker.

He is survived by his parents – Duane and Karen Sibbers, Cadott; his brother – Brian (Kathy) Sibbers, Chippewa Falls; his sister – Lisa (Doug) Gindt, Woodville; his nieces – Megan (Nick) Rinzel and Reneé (Matt) Miller; his nephews – Jacob Gindt and Nick Gindt; his greatnephews – Isaac and Zayden Rinzel; his aunts; uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, Feb. 2, from 5-8 p.m., at Rick’s Halfway Hall in Cadott.

Mark will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His infectious energy, love for life and dedication to his passions, will forever be remembered.
