Danny “Dan” William Scheidler

Danny “Dan” William Scheidler, 54, Cornell, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, suddenly, at a cabin in Winter, of natural causes.

Danny was born March 11, 1969, to Gerald and Janet Scheidler, in the Town of Goetz.

He attended Cadott High School and graduated in 1988. Danny attended CVTC after graduation and he received a degree in precision inspection.

After he graduated from CVTC, Dan was employed at Atlas Manufacturing for 33 years.

He enjoyed being around his friends making maple syrup at the Lenz Cabin in Winter. He loved his trips to Canada, with his sons and friends.

Dan also enjoyed snowmobiling, cutting wood and fishing in Canada. His pride and joy was his children, and his beautiful granddaughter.

His is survived by his two sons – Derek Scheidler and Austin Scheidler; stepdaughter – Brandi Wanish; granddaughter – Brynlee; a brother – Randy (Kay) Scheidler; sisters – Sharyl (Tim) McNamara and Ronette (Brian) Lehman; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Gerald and Janet Scheidler-Voecks; and stepfather – Stanley Voecks.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cadott, with Father William Felix officiating. Interment will be in the Brooklawn Cemetery in Cadott, following the service.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m., until the time of service, at 1 p.m., Friday, at the church.
