James “Jim” Edward Gulich

James “Jim” Edward Gulich, 76, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Jim was born April 10, 1947, to Emil and Thelma Gulich, of Sheldon.

He spent his life in the Holcombe community, where he helped in many community projects. He enjoyed his local sports teams, especially his high school 1998 championship football team.

Jim enjoyed hunting, playing golf and playing cards with friends.

He is survived by his brothers – LeRoy (Denise), Rodney, Randy, Jeff (Rhonda) and Jerry; one sister – Trudy; he was a devoted uncle to his nephews and nieces – Michael Gulich, Tanner Gulich, Chole (Colton) Carter, Michael Unrein and Piper Unrein; and his great-nephews – Kaden, Jameson, Crew and Cash.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Emil and Thelma Gulich.

Visitation was held Saturday, Sept. 2, from 1-4 p.m., at Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell. A short prayer service started at 4 p.m. Interment was at the Arnold Cemetery, following the service.
