Robert “Bob” P. Kraker

Robert “Bob” P. Kraker was born May 1, 1939, and passed away Aug. 1, 2023.

Bob attended grade school at St. Mathias, in West Allis, and high school at Saint Francis de Sales Seminary in St Francis.

He joined the Army at White Sands Missile Base, N.M., and was later stationed in Italy, until 1964.

Bob spent most of his working life at, and retired from, Waukesha Electric Systems, where he assembled large transformers for power companies.

He first bought a home near Island Lake, then moved to Ruby, where he has been since 1974.

Bob liked to travel all over the USA, and once, to Australia.

He was a member of a snowmobile club and bowling leagues.

Bob liked taking weekend trips to casinos throughout Wisconsin, and other states.

We will miss his kindness, humor, and love of family and friends.

He is survived by brother – Jerry; sister – Cathy; nephews – Jerry and Rudy; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by parents – Peter and Catherine; and nephew – Ricky.

Services will be held at St. Peter & Paul Parish in Gilman, Friday, Sept. 8, starting at noon, with a Mass at 1 p.m.
