Darlene M. Wilson

Darlene M. Wilson, 84, Lamar, Colo., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at her home, with her family by her side Darlene was born Nov. 29, 1938, in Lanesboro, Minn., to Ingvald Melvin Hagen and Blanche Marie Doud.

She is survived by her children – Cheryl (Bryan) Beaudreau, Eagle River, Sue (Sam) Borsellino, Cable, Dorleen (John) Pickett, Tomahawk, Jan Olsen, Tomahawk, Dale (Debbie) Brown, Auburn, Kan., Dennis (Lynn) Brown, St. Paul, Minn., Debbie (Tim) Dillon, Lamar, Darrell (Jody) Wilson, Firestone, Colo., and Brenda Wilson, La Salle, Colo.; 28 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her sister – Jeri Bodger, St. Paul, Minn.; and numerous nieces; nephews; other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Al Wilson; son – Robert Brown; her mother and stepfather – Blanche and Frank C. Thompson; her father – Invald Hagen; and siblings – Betty Reek, Donald Wester, Joann Schiener and Richard Fornie.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Per Darlene’s request, cremation will take place. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lamar Area Hospice, either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
