Victoria Mary Morgal Gindt

Victoria Mary Morgal Gindt, 98, Cadott, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, with family at her side.

Victoria was born Oct. 11, 1924, in Chippewa County, to Joseph and Anna (Sokup) Sikora.

She married Damis Morgal Sept. 3, 1949, and he passed away Feb. 9, 1972. Victoria married Lawrence Gindt Dec. 26, 1975, and he passed away Nov. 18, 2007.

Victoria lived in Cadott, the majority of her life. She worked for the Cadott School District as a cook, until she retired. Following retirement, she spent as much time as she could with her family and playing cards at the Cadott VFW.

She is survived by her children – Damis (Mary) Morgal and Denise (Jim) Badour; grandchildren – John (Tammy) Morgal, Michelle (Damon) McRoberts, Damis (Dani) Morgal and Brittany Badour; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother – Louie (Anna) Sikora; a sister – Josephine Stephens; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Joseph and Anna Sikora; husbands – Damis Morgal and Lawrence Gindt; a brother – Charlie Sikora; and sisters – Edna Sikora and Sylvia Kvapil.

Per Victoria’s wishes, no services will be held. Leiser Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cadott, is assisting the family.
