Roger L. Hoople

Roger L. Hoople, 72, Holcombe, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Roger was born Feb. 11, 1950, in Wisconsin, the son of Louis and Mildred (Sherman) Hoople.

He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force.

Roger married Carla Yeager Aug. 16, 1976, at the Holcombe United Methodist Church.

He worked for Ladysmith ADF for many years, as a manager.

Roger loved to hunt, fish, golf with his brothers and riding around with his wife, Carla.

He is survived by his wife – Carla; three sons – Troy and Tim Hoople, both of Eau Claire, and Jason (Marci) Yeager, Holcombe; four brothers – Gene (Robin), Hortonville, Bob, Amora, Dan, Virginia, and Randy (Sue), Green Bay; two sisters – Nancy (Max) Wienert, Kaukauna, and Joyce Siebel, Illinois; and two grandchildren – Talon and Taye Yeager.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers – Ralph, Glen, Ray and Ken Hoople; and one sister – Beverly Hoople.

Per Roger’s request, there will be no services. Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
