Winter Kadince Brouillard, 15, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, at Gillettes Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.

Winter was born April 11, 2007, in Green Bay, to Crystal Breeden and Michael Brouillard.

She attended school in Cornell, and was presently a sophomore at Rice Lake High School.

Winter was an artist, she was full of energy, a very spontaneous girl, had a smile that lit up any room, she also had the biggest heart and thought of others more than herself. Winter taught her mom more than she will ever know.

She enjoyed snowmobiling, waterskiing, fishing, traveling, swimming and campfires.

Her dream job when she grew up, was to be a traveling nurse, with her dog, where she could travel the world.

She is survived by her mother – Crystal Skidmore; her father – Michael Brouillard; two brothers – Maximus Skidmore and Nikolas Lehman; grandparents – Vince and Jenelle Bailkey, Robert Breeden, Jeff and Yvonne Coulthard, Tom and Linda Brouillard; great-grandmothers – Judy Storres and Shelby Ottinger; a special aunt and uncle – Emilie Bailkey and Bryce Weber; and many other aunts; uncles; cousins and other family members.

She was preceded in death by grandfathers – John Storres and Bill Thomas; and uncle – Michael Breeden.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 23, at Maranatha Evangelical Free Church in Rice Lake, with the Rev. Cody Kargus officiating, with interment in the Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Saturday, at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, and for one hour prior to the service, at the church, Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated.
