Alvin “Al” Thomas

Alvin “Al” Thomas, 78, Cornell, passed away Friday July 15, 2022, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Al was born Nov. 11, 1943, in South Bend, Ind.

He was a proud Vietnam Navy veteran.

Al was also a Green Bay Packers fan and a dedicated fisherman.

He is survived by Brenda Gotheridge; three daughters – Valerie Thomas, and her family, Cheryl Thomas and her family, Vickie Anders and her children – Blake, Hunter and Brooklyn; one sister – Mary Streets; and a host of family and friends.

Military honors were held Friday, Aug. 12, at 3 p.m., at the Cornell Cemetery, with a celebration of life immediately following at Mill Yard Park in Cornell.
