Wilda Amallia (Roesner) Tallman, 101, Cornell, passed away Wednesday, July 6, at Cornell Health Services.

Wilda was born March 22, 1921, to Louis and Agnes (Bamberg) Roesner, in Minnesota.

She married Wayne Tallman in 1945, and together, they had two sons, Douglas Tallman and Randy Tallman.

Wilda has been an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cornell, for over 70 years, and in the Cornell American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son – Randy Tallman, Cornell; granddaughter – Stephanie (Tallman) Finke, and her children – Ryan, Ethan and Emily Finke, and grandson – Justin (Amy) Tallman, and their son – Zander Tallman; daughter-in-law – Valerie Tallman; and one sister – Reva Kramer, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Wayne, in 2006; her son – Douglas, in 2013; her parents – Louis and Agnes; and 14 brothers and sisters.

Wilda will be loved and missed by all who knew her. God blessed her with over 101 years of life, may He continue to watch over her in her new home in Heaven. I pray, her son, Randy Tallman, who will always love her.
