Robert “Bob” Andrew Yagoda
Robert “Bob” Andrew Yagoda, 89, resident of Cornell, since 2000, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at 8:55 p.m., surrounded by his family.
He was a beloved husband to Katarzyna “Katherine,” for 55 years; a loving dad of Catherine and Robert Jr. (Claudine); a devoted and cherished grandpa of Michael and Madelyn; had a dearest sister – Florence Lipar Yagoda (the late Jerry); adored brother-in-law; uncle; godfather and great-uncle to many.
He was preceded in death by his late brothers and sisters; John, Joseph (Wanda), Anna (Steve) Nagy, Bruno (Pat), Thomas (Martha), Agnes (Adam) Pavilanis and Sally (William) Dewitt.
Visitation and a funeral mass will be held Thursday, Dec. 31, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cornell. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed with a Catholic funeral Mass at 1 p.m.
Interment will be in the Cornell Cemetery, following the Mass service, with military honors.

Under COVID-19 restrictions, 50 people can attend. Kindly notify family of attendance. Masks are required, per Wisconsin COVID-19 guidelines. Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell, is assisting the family.
