Penelope "Penny" Jo Pieper, 53, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Loyal United Methodist Church in Loyal, with Pastor Kathy Jury officiating. Burial will follow at Loyal Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, June 23, from 4-7 p.m., and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Penny was born on May 21, 1973, in Marshfield, to Dennis and Kathy (Rowley) Pieper. She grew up in Loyal and graduated from Loyal High School in 1991. Following graduation, she continued her education in Minnesota before spending time in the Stevens Point area. In 1994, she moved to Phoenix, Ariz., where she lived for several years before returning to central Wisconsin in 2010.

Throughout her life, Penny worked for several local businesses. Most recently, she was employed at Subway and Stoney River Memory Care until her leukemia diagnosis. Penny had a generous heart and believed deeply in helping others. She was a dedicated blood donor and was an active member of Loyal United Methodist Church, where she participated in many church activities and community events. Sh e was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Her faith, kindness, and will ingness to lend a helping hand touched many lives.

Family was at the center of Penny's life. She especially cherished spending time with her beloved great-nephew, Levi, who brought her immense joy. She enjoyed painting classes, scratching off lottery tickets, going to the movie theater, attending local events, and gathering with family and friends. In her youth, Penny held the honor of being crowned the Loyal Corn Fest Queen, a memory she treasured. She was also a member of the Beaver Center 4H club.

Penny is survived by her mother, Kathy Pieper (Arlyn Kollmansberger) of Spencer; her sisters: Angie (Doug) North, and Mandy Pieper (Randy Wehrman), both of Loyal; her niece, Tiffini Pieper (Ben Wirtz) of Marshfield; her great-nephew, Levi Wirtz; her fur baby, Blu; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Pieper; her mat ernal grandparents, Daryl and Dee Rowley; and her paternal grandparents, Delmar and Darlene Pieper.

Penny will be remembered for her warm smile, compassionate spir it, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A special thank you to the hospital staff on 8 North, who gave Penny exceptional care and even threw her a birthday party while she stayed for her chemo treatments.
