Wilhelmina “Lori” McClain, longtime Royal Oaks retirement community resident and active Willowbrook United Methodist Church parishioner in Sun City, passed away Oct. 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Lori was born in Winnebago, and lived in Medford, Chicago, Phoenix, Medford, Ore., and Glendale, Ariz. prior to settling in Duarte, Calif. and spending her last 9 years at Royal Oaks in Sun City. Lori received her nursing diploma from Illinois Masonic Nursing School in Chicago in 1959 and spent her career in various hospitals and doctors’ offices.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Roger; children, Mark (Tina) and Jodie (John); brother, Lee; and sister, Doris; grandchildren, Grant and Sadie; step-daughters, Teresa, Deborah, Karen; step-grandson, Mark; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hal Ehlers; and 16 brothers and sisters.
