James “Jimmy” Sachs
James W. “Jimmy” Sachs, 50, Loyal, passed away at House of the Dove in Marshfield, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Loyal American Legion Post 175, in Loyal. Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiated, and burial followed in the Town of Beaver Cemetery, rural Loyal. Pallbearers were Matt Tellock, Natasha Tellock, Sheila Tellock, Brian Nigon, Mike Wehrman, and Troy Kanneberg. Visitation was held at the Legion on Tuesday, April 29, from 4-8 p.m., and again on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
James Warren Sachs was born on Aug. 22, 1974, in Neillsville, the son of Warren W. and Helen A. (Joyce) Sachs. He was raised on the family farm, rural Greenwood, until his mother moved to Loyal in 1982, after the death of his father. They moved to Zephyrhills, Fla., in 1983, and then back to Loyal in 1989. Jimmy finished his education in Loyal, graduating from Loyal High School in 1992. After high school, he worked as a mechanic, first for Monroe Truck, then for 25-plus years at Domine Chevrolet in Loyal, and most recently with Northside Elevator in Loyal.
Jimmy had many interests, but especially enjoyed a good time socializing with family and friends, throwing darts, and shooting pool.
He is survived by his brother, William Sachs of Neillsville; his aunt, Dawn (Tom) Weyer of Greenwood; two nephews: Nick and Ben Sachs; one niece, Morgan Sachs; cousins; and many friends.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents. A special thank you from the family goes out to Amy and Mariah from Compassus Hospice, and the wonderful staff at House of the Dove.
