Lyle Edward Rykal
Lyle Edward Rykal, 91, Cadott, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
Lyle was born Jan. 26, 1932, to Charles Sr. and Anna (Burich) Rykal, in Cadott.
He attended a country primary school and graduated from Cadott High School in 1950.
A machinist by trade, he retired as shop supervisor from Extrusion Dies in Chippewa Falls.
Lyle enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening and casino visits.
He is survived by Anna Mae (Gruber) Rykal, his wife of nearly 68 years; five children – Randy Rykal (friend Barb Fritsch), Renee (James) Zimmerman, Ryan (Mary Jo) Rykal, Reid Rykal (Pam Lawrence) and Rogene (Neal) Jochimsen; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers – George, Charles Jr. and Donald; and his sisters – Dorothy and Donna.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cadott, with Father William felix officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m., until the time of service, 11:30 a.m., Saturday morning, at the church.
Interment will follow at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cadott.
