FISCAL FACTS:
The number of incidents of political violence has doubled in the United States in the last year, with experts recording 150 acts of political violence in the first half of 2025, culminating in the assassination of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk last week.
Political violence makes victims of all of us. We, as a people united, must fight the temptation to escalate and inflame emotions. We must step back from brink. We must disengage from the social media echo-chamber feeding frenzy.
