5. What do you enjoy about schools/what made you enter the education world?

I always enjoyed music growing up and took piano lessons starting at age 6 and continuing into college. I went into education to help instill the love of music in our young people. The greatest joy in teaching is when the students connect with the material, it all comes together, they sound good, and are proud of it.

6. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I have three grown children, two grandchildren, and one on the way! My oldest daughter is a nurse, my second daughter is a teacher, and my son is a salesman for a farm equipment business. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks, reading, crocheting, playing cards and games, and spending time with my family.
