CCA seeks grand marshal nomination for Nabor Day CCA seeks grand marshal nomination for Nabor Day

The Cadott Community Association (CCA) is looking for nominations for this year’s Nabor Days Grand Marshal Award. The award will be presented to an individual, or couple, who is active and supportive within the community.

Nominees are someone who exhibits leadership, character and service, in the community and/or civic organizations. The list of grand marshals goes back to 1970, with Eunice Liddell as the first recorded honoree, and Cedric and Carol Boettcher, as the latest in the long line of those recognized.

All nominations need to be turned in no later than May 31. After that date, the 2023 Cadott Community Association will review the nominations, gather additional information (if needed), and make the determination as to the individual or couple who will be recognized this year.

The grand marshal(s) will be announced at a queen coronation, Thursday, July 25, and will also be recognized by taking part in the Nabor Days parade, Sunday, July 28.

A nomination form can be obtained by requesting one by email, at cadottchirodc@gmail.com.

“We all know those few people, who go above and beyond, and stand out in your mind, that have given so much of their time and energy to the Cadott community,” said CCA member Ashley Anderson.
