Nicole M. Kallenbach, 21, Medford, and Keaton A. Gumz-Beyerl, 17, Medford, were involved in an accident on December 7 at 4:42 p.m. at the intersection of Gibson Drive and Apple Avenue in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Kallenbach vehicle was southbound on Gibson Drive and slowing to turn east onto Apple Avenue. The Gumz-Beyerl vehicle was westbound on Apple Avenue when the driver attempted to stop for the stop sign at the intersection with Gibson Drive. The vehicle slid on the icy roadway into the intersection and side swiped the front of the Kallenbach vehicle, causing minor damage. The Gumz-Beyerl vehicle sustained minor damage to the entire right side.

Bryan E. Helberg, 28, Eagan, Minn., and Brendan L. Greisbach, 19, Medford, were involved in an accident on November 28 at 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Walmart, 1010 N. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Helberg vehicle was northbound through the parking lot headed toward Ann’s Way. The Greisbach vehicle was eastbound through the parking lot and the driver did not initially see the Helberg vehicle. When Greisbach did see the Helberg vehicle and tried to stop, the brakes of his vehicle locked up and it collided with the Helberg vehicle, causing damage to the left side middle and left side rear. The Greisbach vehicle sustained damage to the front and right front corner. Looked but did not see by Greisbach was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

John W. Polzin, 68, Medford, and Patty J. Gander, 47, Viroqua, were involved in an accident on November 29 at 9:26 a.m. in the parking lot at Walmart, 1010 N. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Polzin vehicle was backing out of a parking space and struck the legally-parked Gander vehicle, damaging the driver side quarter panel cover. The Polzin vehicle sustained damage to the back bumper cover corner on the passenger side. Polzin said he did not see the Gander vehicle.

Cynthia M. Giegerich, 56, Owen, and Rebecca Ann Santiago, 25, Medford, were involved in an accident on December 9 at 11:39 a.m. in the parking lot at Family Dollar, 111 N. Eighth St. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Santiago vehicle was southbound in the parking lot. The Giegerich vehicle was backing out of a parking space and struck the Santiago vehicle, damaging the rear side bumper. There was no reported damage to the Giegerich vehicle.

Nicole M. Hanninen, 25, Ashland, and Delaney M. Searer, 16, Stetsonville, were involved in an accident on December 9 at 3:30 p.m. in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Hanninen vehicle was stopped in the one-way driveway from the high school waiting to exit onto Hwy 64 when it was struck from behind by the Searer vehicle, which was unable to stop due to the snow-covered road surface. Both vehicles sustained minor damage to their respective ends. Road surface conditions and speeding too fast for conditions by Searer were listed in the report as factors in the accident.

Gregory A. Becker, 58, Gilman, was involved in an accident on November 29 at 1:20 p.m. on CTH O in the town of Little Black. According to the accident report, the Becker vehicle was eastbound on CTH O near W7057 CTH O when a dog ran into the roadway and was struck by the Becker vehicle. The dog was running at large and belonged to Christine Sorge, Athens, who was visiting people on Sunset Road. The Becker vehicle sustained minor damage to the front.

Jerry C. Mallon, 54, Catawba, was involved in an accident on December 2 at 10 a.m. on Seventh Avenue in the town of Roosevelt. According to the accident report, a propane truck operated by Mallon was northbound on Seventh Avenue when it ran off the right side of the roadway and rolled onto its side into the ditch. No propane was spilled in the accident. The vehicle sustained damage to the front and right front corner. Failure to control by Mallon was listed in the report as a factor in the accident.

Jordann J. Politoski, 23, Plover, was involved in an accident on November 27 at 3:02 a.m. on CTH A in the town of Holway. According to the accident report, the Politoski vehicle was westbound on CTH A when the driver lost control on the snow-covered and slippery roadway. The vehicle entered the north ditch and rolled over before coming to a stop in an upright position. The driver and passenger did not report any injuries and did not report the accident to law enforcement. The vehicle sustained damage to the entire right side, right rear corner and roof. It was towed from the scene. Road surface conditions and failure to control by Politoski were listed in the report as factors in the accident. She was issued citations for failure of operator to notify police of an accident and failure to keep the vehicle under control. A passenger in the vehicle, Daniel D. Clark, 42, Bancroft, was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Yolanda Aguilera, 19, Medford and an unknown vehicle were involved in an accident on December 3 at 8:01 a.m. on Hwy 64 in the city of Medford. According to the accident report, the Aguilera vehicle was eastbound on Hwy 64 near Whelen Avenue and was slowed/stopped in traffic when it was struck from behind by another vehicle, which then left the scene. The Aguilera vehicle sustained damage to the rear bumper.

The following deer-related accidents were reported: Carl J. Lueck, 55, Rib Lake, on December 3 at 5:33 p.m. on CTH C in the town of Goodrich.

Daniel J. Harder, 32, Rib Lake, on December 5 at 4:45 a.m. on Trout Avenue in the town of Greenwood.

Carter P. Pernsteiner, 16, Medford, on December 7 at 5:40 p.m. on CTH D in the town of Westboro.

Michael J. Pfeiffer, 76, Medford, on December 8 at 6:43 p.m. on CTH M in the town of Molitor.
