ALoyal High School senior is celebrating a major academic achievement after being named the Wisconsin state winner of the spring 2025 InvestWrite essay competition, a national contest tied to the Stock Market Game.

Addysen Wolf, a senior at Loyal High School, earned the top state honor by crafting a compelling essay on long-term investing strategies. Her essay was selected from entries submitted by students across Wisconsin who participated in the Stock Market Game, an interactive investment simulation program used by schools across the country.

The InvestWrite competition, sponsored by the SIFMA Foundation, challenges students to apply their understanding of economics, financial markets, and personal finance in real-world scenarios. Each semester, students are given a prompt that asks them to analyze investment decisions, explain their strategies, and support their arguments with research and data.

This spring's essay prompt required students to evaluate a successful investment portfolio for the long term, identifying how they would grow their wealth through informed decisions while balancing risk and reward.

As the state winner, Wolf received a prize package from Economics Wisconsin which included a certificate and $100 Amazon gift
