Kenneth “Ken” “Kenny” A. Lovelien, 69, Boyd, passed away, Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.

Kenny was born in Turtle Lake, N.D., to Arlo and Inez (Dean) Lovelien.

He graduated from Cadott High School.

Kenny worked as a dairy farmer and later changed to raising beef cattle.

He enjoyed attending auctions, visiting with friends, hunting, collecting junk that he called treasures, and playing pranks and jokes. Kenny would help anyone in need!

Ken married his wife, Carrie (Roberts), in 1981. He is survived by his wife – Carrie; children – Melissa Lovelien, Boyd, and Tyler (Samantha) Lovelien, Cornell; grandchildren – Madysin, Michael and Lillianna; a sister – Laurel Lovelien; canine companion – Annie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Arlo and Inez Lovelien; oldest sister – Kathy; and in-laws – Ron and Murelyn Young.

Visitation is from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 1, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with a memorial service, at 4 p.m., with Pastor Greg Sima officiating.
