Robert “Bob” A. Woodford
Bob was born Oct. 8, 1936, to Alvin and Elsie (Neisius) Woodford, in Prairie du Chien.
At age three, he moved with his family to the Cadott area.
He was a graduate of Cadott High School, in 1954.
Bob married Jackie Hagedorn, Jan. 15, 1955.
They farmed in the Town of Goetz, until moving to the Village of Cadott, in 1982.
He owned Woodford Milk Hauling; he hauled can and bulk milk, until selling to his sons, Pat and Mike Woodford, and during his retirement years, he worked for neighboring farms.
Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He is survived by sons – Tom (Diane) Woodford, Pat (Bonni) Woodford and Mike Woodford; grandson – Bobby Woodford; granddaughter – Daryl (Dre) Green; greatgrandchildren – Raef and DeeJai; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents – Alvin and Elsie Woodford; wife – Jackie Woodford, in 2021; and brothers – Dick and Don Woodford.
A service of Christian burial is at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with Deacon Ned Willkom officiating. Inurnment is in the Brooklawn Cemetery in Cadott, following the service.
Visitation is from 9 a.m., until the time of services, Wednesday morning, at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Augusta Care and Rehab, and St. Croix Hospice, for the wonderful care they gave Bob, the last six months.
