Dale Arthur Beighley

Dale Arthur Beighley, 75, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 19, 2025. Dale was born Nov. 19, 1949, in Chippewa Falls. He served his country, as a Marine and Vietnam veteran, an experience that had a profound impact on his life. Dale was known for building friendships wherever he went, his storytelling and his ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. He was an avid sports fan, who followed several teams and kept track of players’ stats. Dale will be remembered for his service, his stories and the nicknames he gave, that always seemed to stick. Above all, he was a proud father. He is survived by his children – Janelle (Brad) Hintz and Natalie Beighley; his grandchildren – Drew Hintz and Ava Hintz; and siblings – Karen (Richard) Martinson, Barbara (Gary) Olson, Janet Kowalewski, Debbie (Robert) Howard and Mark (Sandy) Beighley. He was preceded in death by his parents – Fred Beighley and Irene Foster; sisters – Gail (Tom) Wajek and Julie Kay Beighley; and brother-in-law – Edwin Kowalewski. Services will take place at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 31, at Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., and go until the start of the service, at 11:30 a.m. Burial, with military honors, will follow at the Cornell Cemetery. The family would like to thank Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center, for the care provided over the past several months, as well as Heartland Hospice, for keeping him comfortable in his final days.
