Bonnie Jo Schielzeth

Bonnie Jo Schielzeth, 75, Stoughton, WI, passed away November 4, 2025, at her home. Bonnie was born February 13, 1950, to Dale and Adel (nee Johnson) Horn, at their home south of Greenwood. She received her education from the Eaton Center School and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1968. She continued on her education for two years, attending Kenosha Technical Institute. Bonnie married Bruno Schielzeth on September 2, 1971, they later divorced. Bonnie loved plants and flowers and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Joel Schielzeth and Ahleena Schielzeth, both of Stoughton; and three grandchildren: Adam, Tiana and Jayden. She is further survived by her longtime partner, Dennis Basthemer, Stoughton; her siblings: Amanda (Richard) Marco, Onalaska, Randy Horn, Greenwood, Wanda (Michael) Nusberger, Wheeler and Delmond Horn, Greenwood; a brother-in-law, Ned Johnson, Montfort, and many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two children: Erik Schielzeth and Penny Schielzeth, her parents, and a sister, Myra Johnson.

A celebration of life is being planned with a private family burial in the Greenwood City Cemetery.
