Kathleen Kaiser

Kathleen Kaiser, 83, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Agrace Hospice – Janesville from a long gradual descending dementia disease of Parkinsonism/Lewy body.

Kathy was born April 6, 1940, at home on the dairy farm of Myron J. and Eleanore (Strigel) Dennee. She was the second child of nine children.

Kathy grew up working hard with the dairy cattle and driving the numerous tractors doing the farmwork. She developed a strong work ethic on the farm.

Kathy went to St. Andrew’s Catholic school in the little settlement of Rozellville (Stratford, WI), and attended Stratford High School.

On June 4, 1957, she married the teenage love of her life, Brendan Kaiser, from a neighboring small town of Edgar. Kathy and Brendan moved from Edgar to Janesville in October 1959. They have five children born to them, who were all married in Janesville: Robert ‘Bob’ (Kris) Kaiser, Shirley (Greg) Rucks, Brenda (Cary) McNatt, Pam (Jeff) Hermanns and Todd (Robbi) Kaiser.

In 1977, after Kathy and her husband built their second new home in 1976, she and her friend, Andrea Stair, started an interior decorating business hanging wallpaper known as the Wall Wizards. They were the exclusive decorators for the two major builders in the Janesville and surrounding communities, along with hundreds of private home owners. The Wall Wizards retired in the fall of 2004 with many satisfied customers.

Kathy was a great mother, housekeeper with cooking skills above average that she passed down to her family. Her husband, family and her faith were top priorities to her.

Kathy and her husband with their family loved camping, boating, snowmobiling and travel. She and Brendan traveled to Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada fishing trips, plus forty of the forty-eight continental United States with a 5th wheel RV.

Kathy is survived by her husband and their five children mentioned herein, along with her sisters: Betty (Duane) Stencil and Jean Dennee; brothers: Jerry (Carol) Dennee and Richard (Diane) Dennee; along with brothers-in-law: Ron Kaiser,Tom (Mary Jo) Kaiser and John (Joyce) Kaiser; sisters-in-law: Mary Jane (Al) Volm and Carmel Muehlhausen; her 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Kathy was predeceased by her parents and inlaws, Oliver and Cyrilla Kaiser; infant sister, Shirley Dennee; sisters: Karen Caple and Marion Kaiser; and brother, VietNam Vet James ‘Jim’ Dennee.
