Tony L. Jordan, 61, Greenwood, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, following a snowmobile accident. Private family services were held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood, with Rev. Asafa Rajaofera officiating. A celebration of life will be held this coming summer.

Tony Lee Jordan was born on May 13, 1959, in Pontiac, Mich., the son of James N. and Margaret L. (nee Cook) Jordan. The family moved to North Carolina when Tony was a young child and he lived there until he joined the Army in 1976. He served in the Army until 1992, doing a tour in Iraq during Operation Desert Storm. Tony then worked as an over-the-road truck driver from 1992 until 2018, traveling all over the country. He was united in marriage to Deanna L. Martin on June 21, 1996, in El Paso, Texas. In 2018, he came in off the road and started a new career as a correctional officer with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections in Stanley. He had many interests, but especially loved spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycle, driving his T-Bucket hot rod, collecting Case knives, and snowmobiling.

Tony will be dearly missed by his wife of 25 years, Deanna Jordan; three daughters: Natalie (Jerry) Westberry, Jamie (Ashley) Bradt, and Laura Bollman; a stepson: Tom (Sheila Perrigo) Courtney; 14 grandchildren; two sisters: Josephine Sinclair and Theresa Jordan; several nieces and nephews; his beloved weenie dogs, Penny and Bear; and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
