Daniel Morien

Daniel Louis Morien, 65, passed away Dec. 11, 2020, at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was born Aug. 11, 1955, son of late William Daniel Morien and Mae Louise (Schlichting) Morien. He was raised in Stratford, graduating from Stratford High School in 1973. After graduating he served six years in the U.S. Air Force. He then attended NTC in Wausau, graduating as a laser technician.

He is survived by his mother, Mae Louise (Schlichting) Morien; sisters: Mae Beth (Gene) Kelley, Holly Morien Meaders and Melanie Star (Robert) Bruno; nephew, Nathan Gene Kelley; and nieces: Avalon Mist Bruno and Saffron Rose Bruno.

He was preceded in death by father, William Daniel Morien, and his grandparents.

Public visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, with the service following at St. John Lutheran High Steeple, Edgar. Social distancing and masks are required for all attending. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes.com. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery where military rites will be performed by VFW Post #6352 - Stratford.
