Donna Catherine Perkins

1944-2026

Donna Catherine Perkins, age 81, passed away at Mercy Hospital surrounded by family in Janesville on Thursday Aug. 6, 2026. Donna was born on Aug. 22, 1944, to Chester and Myrtle (LaBlanc) Harries in Medford. Donna enjoyed gambling at the casinos. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow into wonderful people. She was very excited to have two more great-great-grandchildren on the way!

Donna is survived by a loving and every growing family: her children, Kenny (Laura) Peche, Kris (Robin Lobe), and Kevin (Megan) Peche; her sister, Jackie (Henry) Faber, Linda Taber, Wanda (Jack) Schnitger, Randy Perkins, and Connie (Rex) Rohrs; sister-in-law, Jeanette Harries; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren with two on the way; and all her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Cal; a sister, Shirley; and a brother, JD.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Mercy Hospital for their compassionate care and diligent efforts to determine her medical condition. Although her journey had come to an end, the family deeply appreciated the dedication, professionalism, and caring measures provided by the medical staff.

A celebration of life will be held for her family on Aug. 22, 2026. The Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Milton is assisting the family with arrangements.
