Michael Raymond Perkins “Jaws”, 67, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 26,2026.

He was born March 29, 1959, in Ladysmith, son of the late Raymond and Jean (LaBelle) Perkins.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens. Rev. George Graham will preside. Burial will be in Athens Village Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of service, all at the Athens funeral home.
