Kevin Lee Kramer, age 59, of the Town of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at home under the tender care of Hope Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at This & That Wisconsin Store, 208268 Highway 97, Stratford. A short service will be held at 2 p.m. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Kevin was born on June 23, 1964, in Marshfield. He was the son of Ernest (Ethel) Kramer and Bette (Mark Gessert) Jicinsky. His early life was spent in Stratford, where he attended St. Joseph Elementary School and Stratford High School where he graduated in 1982. Kevin married Michelle Borchardt and they divorced in 2006. He spent the past 20 years with his significant other, Sally (Hegeman) Epping.

During his life, he worked as a truck driver for Roehl Transport, Kafka Granite and Zabler Transport. Kevin was a man of hobbies as he had a drive to always be busy and enjoyed learning and researching new things. His hobbies over the years included: woodworking, pan fishing, ice fishing, salmon fishing, race car driving, lawn tractor pulling, beekeeping, maple syrup making, hunting, trapping, taxidermy and camping. Most recently, he took up knitting to keep his mind and hands busy during his chemotherapy treatments.

Kevin is survived by his significant other, Sally; his parents, son, Dylan (Kelly) Kramer, honorary stepsons: Greg (Stephanie Blasky) Epping and Mark Epping; siblings: Sandra (Gary) Stoiber, Kelly (Brandi) Kramer, Kraig Kramer, Sheryl (Dean Campbell) Kramer and Kory Kramer, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alfred and Olga (Solinsky) and Ambrose and Rita Jicinsky, and a cousin, Aaron Jicinsky.

Kevin’s family would like to thank Hope Hospice, especially nurse Penny and social worker Elise. We also want to thank family and friends for their help and support during this time.
