Crashes with injuries


On May 27 at 9:12 p.m., a vehicle operated by Debbie Scapardine, 64, of Bruce, struck a deer while driving northbound on STH 73 in the town of Roosevelt. A 12 year old passenger sustained a suspected minor injury.
On June 1 at 1:31 a.m., a vehicle operated by Lisa Hince, 59, of Medford, struck a deer while driving southbound on STH 13 in the town of Westboro.
On May 31 at 9:23 p.m., a vehicle operated by Velma Mann, 77, of Rib Lake, struck a deer while driving northbound on STH 102 in the town of Rib Lake.
On May 29 at 6:02 a.m., a vehicle operated by Cole Gabor-Pullen, 22, of Beloit, struck a deer while driving westbound on STH 64 in the town of Ford.
On June 4 at 10:36 a.m., a vehicle operated by Kelly Rodman, 64, of Medford, was driving southbound through the south end of the Wheelers Chevrolet parking lot in Medford, making a left turn. During the turn, the vehicle struck a concrete base for an overhead parking lot light pole.
On June 1 at 3:02 p.m., a vehicle operated by Roger Pilsner, 69, of Prentice, was backing up in the parking lot of ACE Hardware in Medford and struck a pole, causing damage to the rear of the vehicle.
On May 29 at 2:34 p.m., Roy Dolens of Ogema walked outside of Aspirus in Medford and saw that his vehicle was scratched on the passenger side middle. Susan Daehne, 63, of Phillips left a note with her name and phone number. Officer Berg’s report notes that Daehne stated she was having stomach problems so she needed to leave the scene.
On May 25 at 1:09 p.m., a vehicle operated by Michael Thomas, 77, of Appleton, was traveling northbound on STH 13 in the town of Westboro. A vehicle operated by Scott Mathias, 60, of Green Bay, attempted a southbound turn onto STH 13. While Mathias attempted the turn, the vehicle operated by Thomas struck the left rear corner of the vehicle operated by Mathias.
undercarriage caught on fire. The vehicle was removed by a tow truck due to dis abling damage.
