Plymouth Arts Center presents 15th annual Shamrocks & Shenanigans, an Irish music show

Shake off those winter blues and anticipate Spring with all things Green while enjoying “Shamrocks & Shenanigans 15,” An Irish Music Show. Plymouth’s own Irish Lass, Ms. Mary Calvey, is the director and lead singer of this ever-popular show which became an annual Irish musical tradition at the PAC since 2006. This year’s show marks the 15th and final installment of this fun-filled show, which will include a wide selection of Irish melodies, lovely ballads, and lively pub songs, with a wee bit o’ laughter thrown in. You don’t have to be Irish to appreciate this show! There is sure to be something that everyone will love.

This year’s talented cast includes: Mary Calvey (Plymouth), director, on vocals and bodhran; Steve Vogt (Grafton) on Irish tenor banjo, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and vocals; Laura Spaeth (New Holstein) on tin whistle, fiddle, and vocals; Roger Cass (Cedarburg) on guitar and vocals; Bill Rathman (Elkhart Lake) on string bass; JoAnne Friedman (Cascade) on guitar, rhythm bones, and vocals; Ken Wilhite (Gibbsville) on fiddle; and Kristia Wildflower (Plymouth), jokester and storyteller. Returning to this year’s show is Daphne Achter (Kiel), on vocals. New to this year’s show are Beth Leinss (Port Washington) on piano, ukulele, and vocals, Judy La Grow (Two Rivers) on fiddle, and Kevin Spaeth (New Holstein) on vocals.

Show dates are Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 14, 2 p.m. matinee and 7:30 p.m. Plymouth Arts Center is located at 520 East Mill Street, Plymouth.
