Granton School District outlines case for April 7 referendum
The Granton Area School District had a strong turnout for its Feb. 23 referendum informational meeting, with more than 80 people in attendance. Additional meetings will be held Monday, March 9, at 7 p.m. at the Town of York hall; and Monday, March 23, at 7 p.m. in the school’s central gym. Shown above is the proposed street in Loyal’s new industrial park. The yellow line shows the existing walking trail, which starts at the corner of Main Street/County Highway K and Chickadee Road (bottom right in photo). The street would start at the same point and either follow the green path or blue path until it hooked up with the orange path. The street would go until the wetland area, marked with a green star on the map, where there would be some sort of turnaround for trucks.
